About Me

I like to build things.

I am a very passionate person with both work and play. If a problem presents itself, I find the solution.  I love to learn new things; I’m self-taught in web design, learned as a necessity to bring the web presence for our company into the modern era.  I love to stay active.  When I’m not working you can find me sipping on an IPA, building something out of reclaimed wood, hiking the mountains with my dog best friend, or playing sand volleyball!

I specialize in creating simple, clean, and easy-to-navigate sites for small businesses. Anything from a simple site that showcases a business’ services, to an extensive eCommerce site utilizing custom functions, I’ll be able to help you with what you need.

I’m not selfish

Many website designers like to make it difficult for their clients to maintain or make edits to their websites. Whether you just want me to get you going & teach you how to maintain your site or if you want me to fully manage it, I’m good either way!

Resume

Here’s a few things I’ve done so far…

Work Experience

Chief Operating Officer

Former roles: Director of Operations, Operations Manager, Sales & Marketing Assistant

Aidan Products, Dallas, TX, December 2009 – Present

Aidan Products is an innovative nutraceutical supplement company supplying doctors, distributors, and consumers all around the world with a small line of high quality, researched, and effective supplements.  I began working with the company as a Sales and Operations Coordinator and quickly climbed the ranks as I proved my abilities to tackle difficult projects with minimal or zero direction.

Since joining Aidan Products, I have been responsible for and have managed major distributor accounts, website re-design and development, branding re-design, inventory management, new product development, clinical trial registration  & IRB submission, marketing development & execution, national sales conferences & visits, supply chain management, order fulfillment, and much more.  The bottom line…if there’s something that needs to be done, I do it.

Group Fitness Instructor / Rock Wall Supervisor

Additional and Former roles: Front Desk & Children’s Center Associate, Summer Camp Associate, Rock Wall Staff

Life Time Fitness, Tempe, AZ, 2003 – 2015

Life Time Fitness is a cutting-edge fitness, wellness, and lifestyle brand. They have redefined what it means to be a fitness club. It was a wonderful experience for my first job(s), beginning as a 16-year old in the Child Center and expanding my part-time roles within the company over the years — even staying on as a Spin Instructor for many years when I began full-time work after graduating college.

The experience I acquired working at Life Time has been invaluable — through learning & developing top-notch customer service skills, creative problem-solving, and developing innovative lesson plans, I grew to appreciate my time and knowledge gained across a wide variety of disciplines.

EDUCATION

ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY

B.S. in Kinesiology with emphasis on Pre-Med, Graduated Summa Cum Laude, May 2009

I have a passion for healthy living and a unique curiosity on how the body functions, particularly as it pertains to exercise and the efficiency of movement.  When I was pursuing my degree, I took extra classes to satisfy pre-med requirements; however near graduation, I decided that I wanted to pursue a different career path.  My passion for academic excellence ensured that I maintained a near-perfect GPA despite a course load heavy in upper-division science classes.  My experience at ASU allowed me to grow and provide a solid foundation for my career.

Volunteer

dog foster

Dallas Pets Alive, Dallas, TX, January 2018 – Present

I recently started donating a lot of my spare time to fostering dogs from Dallas Animal Services through Dallas Pets Alive. As a foster-based rescue organization, we strive to save frequently overlooked, medically needy, and shut-down dogs from the shelter and help them become happy, healthy, adoptable dogs.

Speaking of which…meet BRUCE, my current foster!

Bruce is a 5 year old Lab mix and despite his size, loves being a lap dog. He’s the definition of play hard, nap hard. This cuddly pup loves playing fetch and throwing his toys around, but snoozes hard when it’s time to relax. Bruce likes to cuddle up with his humans after play time and get lots of snuggles, ear scratches, and belly rubs. An ideal home for him would be one with space. He loves to shake his toys around and romp and play, so he would love a yard or at least daily outings to explore and play.

Bruce is able to walk on a leash without pulling and is crate trained and house trained! He can also be left out all day and he knows that toys are toys, so he doesn’t destroy other loose items in the house. His nickname might as well be Shadow since he loves to be wherever his humans are. This always-affectionate guy is deserving of the perfect furever home!
